RUN GUI

Run GUI (type 'gui.exe' and press $\langle$Enter$\rangle$). $\Rightarrow$ ver.** window will appear. The number '**' shows the version of GUI. There are two PULL-DOWN menus and five CLICK-TO-CHOOSE options.

• PULL-DOWN MENUS
  • File ; user can change the GUI configuration or quit.

  • Help ; get connected to the FLAPW user guide or README file for GUI.

• CLICK-TO-CHOOSE OPTIONS
  • Set Active Project ; to set up the active projects.

  • Input Wizard ; to set up 'lapwin', the flapw input file.

  • Runtime Wizard ; to run FLAPW calculation.

  • Properties ; to plot DOS, band structure, charge/spin density, optics and MCD.

  • Quit ; to quit GUI.

The GUI Configuration window will also appear automatically upon the first call for the GUI after each of the new GUI installations. Set GUI configuration first. Then set the 'Active project'. Then click one of the other four to choose.
