Run 'setup.sh'.
Follow the self-explanatory procedure step by step, to install the FLAPW and GUI. You will be asked to enter the directory where to compile FLAPW and GUI, and therefore to locate the executables and data files. If you enter 'QMD' for example, the FLAPW and GUI will be compiled under $HOME/QMD, $HOME/QMD/GUI, respectively.

Include the FLAPW directory ($HOME/QMD, if you entered 'QMD' in item 1.1 above) in your PATH.

Set up the editor by 'setenv EDITOR ...', where ... states your editor. For example, on the .cshrc file, you may add one line as
setenv EDITOR "xterm -e vi"
if your editor is the "vi".
